Therapist Biography
I believe in working with the whole system, your mind, body and soul. I am passionate about supporting individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental health challenges. My specialism is working with complex grief, suicidal ideation and trauma in both adults and children. You may find yourself repeating unhelpful patterns of behaviour, or perhaps an experience continues to impact your life; now may be the time to pause, reflect, and begin to make sense of it all.
I offer compassionate, professional talk therapy to help individuals navigate life’s challenges, improve emotional well-being, and foster personal growth. Through a supportive and confidential environment, I work collaboratively with you to explore thoughts, feelings and experiences, helping you gain clarity, build resilience and make meaningful changes.
My approach is tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based methods such as cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), person-centred therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and other proven techniques to support you.
My way of working is creative because every person is unique, and one size does not fit all. Whether working with children or adults, I tailor the therapeutic process to meet each person’s specific needs and ways of expressing themselves.
For children and young people especially, I integrate creative methods such as therapeutic play, art, storytelling, VR, LEGO and mindfulness to help them feel safe, engaged and connected. These approaches often allow for deeper emotional expression when words are hard to find.
