Art Psychotherapy
Art Psychotherapy – Our Therapists
Art Psychotherapy draws on visual and creative approaches to help us to explore our thoughts, emotions and place in the world. As an Integrative Arts Psychotherapist, I am trained and experienced in using a variety of Art materials and other creative approaches such as sandtray, sound and metaphor to support you. Creative approaches don’t always involve making Art, but they can do! Art Psychotherapy does not require any previous experience with Art, and it does not mean that you need to be ‘good at drawing’. It does mean that you will be able to express your thoughts and feelings in a variety of ways, even when you may not be able to find the words.
