Foot Health Practitioner (FHP)

Foot Health Practitioner  (FHP) is a profession that is trained to treat foot disorders in a clinical environment such as hospitals and private clinics. Unfortunately, this service is in short supply from the NHS. FHPs will support patients with their foot problems. The foot problems can show in forms of ingrown toes/fingers nails, fungal infection, verruca or wart, callus or thick/hard skins, dried skin/cracked heels and a diabetic foot (and more). FHPs use specialist and clinical tools to treat the patients and will make a follow up routine with their patients as it is essential for maintenance of foot health.
