Therapist Biography

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by anxiety, low mood, or difficult thoughts? You don’t have to face it alone. Life’s challenges can leave deep marks, but with the right support, it’s possible to feel more grounded, more in control, and more like yourself again.

I’m an integrative counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I offer a confidential, warm, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, based on the belief that we all have the capacity for healing and growth when we feel safe and supported.

I work with adults facing a range of issues, including:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Low self-esteem
  • Grief and loss
  • Life transitions
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Trauma and the lasting impact of the past

As an integrative therapist, I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches to suit your unique needs – including Person-centred, Psychodynamic, Neuroscience-informed, and CBT-based techniques. Whether you want to explore current challenges or understand how your past may still be affecting you, we will work together at a pace that feels right for you.

Counselling can help you build self-awareness, develop emotional resilience, and make meaningful, lasting changes. Sometimes it’s about untangling long-held patterns; other times, it’s about finding your voice, setting healthy boundaries, or simply being heard – perhaps for the first time.

I also work as a counsellor with a local Community Trust and a Men’s Wellbeing Centre, as I believe support should be accessible to everyone. My work is grounded in the BACP Ethical Framework, ensuring a safe, respectful, and ethical practice at all times. I hold a Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling and I am currently working toward a full BA (Hons).

I offer a free 20-minute consultation, either online or by phone. If you’re considering counselling, please feel free to get in touch – I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have.
