Dr. Lisa Peacock is a Dramatherapist who utilizes a co-creative approach to therapy that is grounded on a therapeutic alliance and builds from an individual’s strengths. Creative engagement is tailored to each person. She embraces the ethos that story medicine comes in many forms and is unique to each individual. Regularly reviewing aims and needs in therapy helps keep sessions productive. She has extensive knowledge working with individuals experiencing burnout or compassion fatigue, addiction, posttraumatic stress or life-threatening illness. She has worked with adults facing mental health challenges both in hospital and community settings in the United Kingdom and the United States. She received her doctorate in Dramatherapy from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. She is an Arts Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a member of the British Association of Dramatherapists and the North American Drama Therapy Association.
